Software license

This license applies to official object-code distributions of the Browxai Cloud connector (browxai-cloud) supplied by Kalebtec Studio S.C., CIF J26989384. Our address and contact details are in the legal notice.

Permission to use the connector

While you have authorised access to Browxai Cloud, including an invited beta account, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to install and run the connector on machines you own or are authorised to administer, solely to connect to the service.

You may make copies reasonably needed for that installation and backup. You receive no ownership of the software or rights to our private source code.

The service terms also apply.

Restrictions and statutory rights

Do not redistribute, sell, sublicense, or offer the connector as a hosted service without written permission. Do not remove legal notices, bypass authorisation or usage controls, or use it for unlawful access.

Do not modify, reverse-engineer, or decompile proprietary portions except where applicable law permits despite this restriction. In particular, this license preserves mandatory rights relating to lawful use, observation, testing, error correction, and interoperability. It does not restrict rights granted by third-party open-source licenses.

Export and sanctions

"Applicable sanctions and export controls" has the meaning given in the export and sanctions clause of the terms & conditions: EU and Spanish measures, and another country's measures only where they apply to the transaction under that country's law and complying would not breach EU law.

You must not download, install, use, export, re-export, or supply the connector where the transaction is prohibited by applicable sanctions and export controls. This covers prohibited destinations, and persons or entities subject to applicable restrictions, and entities they own or control where those restrictions extend to them. Do not install the connector on a computer located in a prohibited destination. Do not evade these restrictions through an intermediary or false account or location details.

Military, intelligence, and repression end-use is prohibited, as is use in connection with chemical, biological or nuclear weapons or their delivery systems. You are responsible for local export and re-export requirements applicable to your use or onward supply. Kalebtec may refuse, suspend, or end access where applicable sanctions and export controls require it. A breach of this clause ends this license. Nothing in this clause requires compliance with foreign measures where that compliance would itself breach applicable EU law.

Third-party components

Components distributed under open-source licenses remain governed by those licenses. Any applicable copyright notices, attribution, and source offers supplied with the distribution form part of its notices. Those component licenses prevail over this agreement for the components they cover.

The separate browxai application keeps its own license.

Check that application's terms and your AI provider's terms as well. Permission to run the connector does not grant permission to redistribute those products or use their trademarks.

Connectivity and updates

The connector uses network connections to authenticate, pair a host, maintain the relay connection, and forward browser-tool requests and results. Connection peers and networking providers can process IP addresses and related connection metadata. Read the privacy policy before pairing a machine: installing the connector does not itself authorise every browser action, and local browxai permissions still apply.

Install supported updates from the official distribution channel. We do not promise indefinite support for old versions.

Termination, liability, and law

You may stop using and uninstall the connector at any time. This license ends when your authorised service access ends or when we terminate it for a material breach under the service terms. Stop using proprietary copies when that happens; independent third-party license rights remain intact.

The availability, liability, consumer-rights, and governing-law provisions in the terms & conditions also apply here. Nothing excludes a mandatory statutory right.
